As part of this year's RSD BLACK FRIDAY event, we are super excited to welcome Reading alt-rock band, THIRD LUNG to Record Corner HQ.
The band have been shown huge support from the likes of BBC Introducing declaring they ‘Absolutely Love them!’, along with Classic Rock Magazine who described Third Lung as 'A mix of crunchy grunge-laced chops, atmospheric harmonies and contemporary production qualities that drive the soaring, pensive qualities of the Reading-based rockers'.
Third Lung are: Tom Farrelly (Lead Vocalist and guitarist), Camilla Jurasek (Lead Guitarist and Backing Vocalist), Rob Jacques (Bass Guitarist) and Sam Waugh (Drummer).
During the last 5 years they have toured extensively showcasing their back catalogue including 3 EP’s and a string of single releases including; 'Breaking Late EP' (2017), 'Sooner or Later EP' (2019) 4 single releases throughout 2019/20 and the 'Dialogues of the Fatal Few EP' (2021).
Their debut album ‘Gameplay’ was released on 4 November 2022 and in their own words, 'has been influenced by some of our all-time favourites. Albums such as 'Parachutes' (Coldplay), 'Joshua Tree' (U2), 'Word GetsAround' (Stereophonics), 'Early in the Morning' (James Vincent McMorrow), 'When The Storms Would Come' (Holy Holy) and 'Cherry Tree' (The National) to name just a few.
So pop down to see them at Record Corner, Godalming, on Black Friday 25 November at 1pm for a lunch time set of FREE live music and album signing - what better way to start the weekend!
