Record Store Day 2026 took place on Saturday April 18th - It was an important event for many reasons this year: It was the first under new owners Matthew & Catherine, it had the biggest release list in RSD history and that brought with it the longest queue in Record Corner's history.
The RC team were joined during the day by Ritual & Grub who served breakfast to the early risers, many of whom had been outside the store since the night before. Entertainment throughout the day was provided by the always fantastic KANE FM crew who also broadcast live from the store. Thanks to everyone who joned us and helped out - it made it a truly memorable day & big love to Shola who documented the day for us.
The biggest thanks go to all of you who travelled far and wide to come shop with us, We hope you got all that you wished for. Our wishlist form was published within minutes of the official RSD going live, so if you want to take part in future RSD events we advise signing up to our newsletter to get the inside track and tell us what you hope to buy... the sooner the better as we start ordering almost straight away!
In the meantime we will always have the latest releases and limited editions in store - so come in to our Godalming store or check in online.
